Canara Bank is one of the finest Government bank in India. Its Netbanking is Easy, fast & smooth. If you have a Account in any Canara Bank branch than you can activate Canara bank netbanking by registering.

1.How to register for Canara Bank Netbanking Services?

Step-1) visit the official site of Canara bank netbanking-https://netbanking.canarabank.in/entry/tnc.html and click on I agree.

select Net banking Retail-

Click on New User on left corner

after clicking new user, it will show you the page like this-

Step-2) In this page, it will ask for your

Current/saving account number
ATM cum Debit card number ( Rupay, mastercard or visa) as the case may be.
Customer id ( it is a unique id which can be found on first page of Canara Bank Passbook or Cheque book)
Now select transfer & inquiry facility

Step-3) Click on I Agree button tab and proceed.

after proceed, you have to fill otp received on your registered mobile number in canara bank. if mobile number is not registered, than you can visit branch and get it registered easily.

Step-4) In the screen, you will find column, otp password, you will received otp on your registered mobile number. Just fill the otp 2 times in there and click submit.

Step-5) If you donâ€™t receive otp on your phone, than you can re-generate the otp in the side row like here-

Step-6)After submitting otp, you have to make a Excellent security canara netbanking password which shall include- 1 uppercase, numeric and special characters. Remember or note down the password you make.

Step-7) now you will receive notification that you have successfully registered yourself in canara bank net banking and now you can login.

Step-8) after login, now you have to set transaction generating password which can be found in tab. Select the generate transaction password and set it. Now you have 2 passwords, 1 is for net banking login, other one is for transferring fund to beneficiary. Note down both of them

2.How to Login into canara bank netbanking and transfer fund by IMPS/NEFT/ RTGS

Step-1) visit here https://www.canarabank.com/NET_Banking.aspx and select the Retail banking tab

Step-2) it will show the tabs as here. Username is nothing but your customer id that can be found on first page of Canara Bank Passbook or Cheque book

Step-3) enter your password, captcha and login.

Step-4) If you want to check balance in canara bank, you can find it in front, if you want to transfer fund then follow the above procedure-

Select account> fund transfers> other banks

you will see a page like above.

Step-5) you have to Add beneficiary for transferring fund. Add beneficiary tab is also there, select it and add the beneficiary account number by filling Account number, ifsc code.

if beneficiary is from canara bank then select-within canara otherwise select other bank

Step-5) Now enter the beneficiary details to whom amount to be transfer. select NEFT/IMPS. ( NEFT for upto 2 lacs, IMPS can be start from RS.1 .

add beneficiary account number, ifsc, bank name & branch.

Once Beneficiary is added, now select transfer fund, other bank/ within canara and choose the beneficiary from view beneficiaries list. enter amount and submit one time password and transaction generating password.

fund is successfully transferred now. call/ whatsapp to beneficiary and confirm.

Note- it shall be noted that in canara bank, 2 password are required for initiating transaction. Otp and transaction generating password. Transaction generating password is set while registering. Otp comes on mobile number which will be valid for 5 min. only.

3. how to reset password of Canara bank net banking-

Step-1) visit the official site of Canara bank netbanking-https://netbanking.canarabank.in/entry/tnc.html and click on I agree.

select Net banking Retail. click on forget password and it will show you a page like this.

step-2) enter your user id ( customer id), DOB and select retail user. now you have to choose reset account using

pan
Passport number
Debit card number

choose the option of your choice, click submit and reset the password.
